Miami-Dade County’s Town Hall Meeting to Prevent Underage Drinking

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has selected FIU-BRIDGE (Florida International University – Banyan Research Institute on Dissemination, Grants, & Evaluation) to host the inaugural Miami-Dade County Town Hall Meeting to Prevent Underage Drinking. This inaugural Town Hall Meeting to Prevent Underage Drinking was a great success, with over 100 members of the Miami-Dade community in attendance.   • Share current data on underage drinking problems in Miami-Dade
  • Connect stakeholders promoting the health and well-being of Miami-Dade youth
  • Mobilize Miami-Dade to move beyond awareness to action on underage drinking

  • FIU and M-DCPS school administrators, elected officials, city and county leaders, community activists, youth, and academic experts
